If sex with dolls is considered legal, Greco Jr. expects doll brothels to pop up in the near future. But their success is uncertain.<o:p></o:p>

"All over the world, doll brothels are opening -- some are closing as fast as they're opening," Greco Jr. said.<o:p></o:p>

The first sex doll brothel in the United States was scheduled to open in Houston last October, but the city attorney blocked it, arguing that people can't have sex with inanimate objects in the business.<o:p></o:p>

Hong Kong's first sex doll brothel opened in September 2018 and closed the following month. The owner was arrested and closed the store; police say the business openly and illegally displayed sex toys for sale but failed to cover them as required. A brothel in Barcelona was also forced to close and is now located in an area known only to customers, and a sex doll brothel in England was shut down after complaints from neighbors.<o:p></o:p>
