Cate Blanchett looks impossibly chic in flared monochrome jumpsuit as she attends Armani Prive Show at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris

She's no stranger to red carpet glamour.

And Cate Blanchett showed the catwalk queens how it was done as she stepped out in an impossibly chic flared jumpsuit, for Haute Couture Fashion Week, in Paris, on Tuesday.

The 47-year-old looked effortlessly elegant in the monochrome outfit, which featured an edgy floral design.

Although she fully covered both her arms and legs in the trendy jumpsuit, Cate showed off her fabulous figure as she cinched in her tiny waist with a thick coordinating belt.

And the wide legged design of her trousers made her already endless legs appear even longer.

Cate also teased just a hint of cleavage with a thin v-neck split down the front of her top.

Earlier in the year, the Lord Of The Rings star had sported an unusual pink hairstyle, but she was back to her trademark golden locks as she attended the Armani Prive show.

Cate styled her shoulder-length blonde tresses into loose Hollywood waves, which framed her face with a deep centre parting.

And she opted for full glamour in the makeup department as she accentuated her piercing blue peepers with a stunning bronze eyeshadow and drew attention to her impossibly high cheekbones with a dusting of pink blush.

She also smothered her plump pout in a pretty rose gloss.

But despite her flawless look, Cate still played it cool as she left the show, with a pair of large cat-eye shades.

Despite her success both in her fashion and film life, Cate recently admitted that she is so dissatisfied with her work and constantly racked with self-doubt that she never watches herself on film.

‘I am filled with regret whenever I watch anything I do, which is why I tend not to watch them,’ she told the Irish Sunday Independent.

The Australian star blamed her creative spirit for her ‘divine restlessness’ and that being ‘constantly dissatisfied’ with her work was made her keep acting.

The 47-year-old is famous for beating herself up between takes when she doesn’t think she’s nailed a scene, according to director Todd Haynes in an interview with Variety last year.

‘There are days when she's frustrated by her own work. We don't know what she's talking about, but she'll say, “I need to take an acting pill today. It's not working”,’ he said.

Instead of being overwhelmed by her perfectionism and self-doubt, Cate said she used them as fuel and inspiration to perform better.

‘I am full of doubt, and fear, which can sound negative, but, in fact, if you identify that, then you can find a solution in that. “Why am I frightened of that?” That's the very reason why I need to do this job, even if I fall on my face. That's the job I have to do,’ she said.
