So what exactly is a sex doll or love doll?

Without going into too much detail, here is a simplified overview of the process: First, the artist or sculptor uses clay to sculpt a full-size model of the doll's body. The artist's work can take several months to perfect, starting with photographs and sketches to help create and design the perfect model. Once the clay sculpture is complete, the clay model is used to cast a separate fibreglass mould for that particular model, which acts as the 'negative' for the clay model. Liquid TPE or silicone is poured into the mould, placed and positioned around a metal wiggleable skeleton. The mould is then removed and the body of the doll is hand finished by the workshop artist, removing excess material, smoothing and manipulating the skin, hand finishing the make-up and various other details. The heads are made in a similar way, but they are made in a different mould to the body.<o:p></o:p>

How much can I change on a sex doll?<o:p></o:p>

Well, it's good to know that the dolls come from pre-made moulds. Different moulds are used to make different body shapes and sizes. Once the moulds are made, the moulds themselves cannot be adjusted. Therefore, it is not possible to change (for example) the breast size of a particular doll without changing the mould completely. So when choosing a body type, it is important to know that the body type is fixed and cannot be changed.<o:p></o:p>

All sex dolls are handmade and produced to order. Even 'pre-configured' dolls are made to order. Pre-configured sex dolls are simply handmade dolls with a set of optional configurations.
