AUSTRALIAN Fashion Labels creative director Melanie Flintoft is expecting to have a moment in more ways than one at tonight’s Adelaide Fashion Festival program launch.

It will an emotional evening as the multimillion-dollar local business she founded with husband Dean Flintoft turns 10 at the invitation-only event at the Art Gallery of South Australia.
With a reputation for being up to date with the latest global trends, the fashion empire will showcase its September collections, with four installations rather than a traditional catwalk presentation.
Each of its clothing brands, C/MEO Collective, Finders, Keepsake the Label and The Fifth Label, will have its own installation, also known as a “fashion moment”. The models will also be wearing the company’s JAGGAR shoes.
Ms Flintoft, winner of the 2009 festival’s emerging designer award, said it was an honour to celebrate the 10-year milestone at the launch.
“Looking back it has been a truly incredible ride — we have always been moving forward with quite remarkable pace and intensity,” she said.
Australian Fashion Labels, which has been worn by celebrities such as Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, will have its own show on October 13 as part of the Adelaide Fashion Festival.
Finders will also feature in Myer’s in-store runway event starring Jennifer Hawkins earlier the same evening.
